I’ve come across some good ones so far, but they lay half way across the globe. I reside in the Los Angeles county area, and plan on staying around here during college. I wanted to start drawing a comic book. My art skill isn’t too bad, I’m still improving but I don’t have ANY supplies. I was wondering what I will need. What kind of Pencils? Outliner marker things? Types of paper for skecths and actual comic pencil work? Computer program for colouring/inking, scanner?

I am creating a comic and while I have the art thing down (more or less), I want the lettering to look decent, so I’m wondering what size to do the lettering on a comic art-board (11 x 17), which will of course be reduced to standard comic size.
