Not done with love asked:

Most comic companies will only accept a graphic novel submission if it has both script AND artwork. I am a writer; I write the story and that is all. I have an entire graphic novel script written up and editted, but I have no artwork and am unable to illustrate my story in any way. How and where can I find someone to illustrate my story?

I have always wanted to become a comic book penciler, but I don’t know what I need to do or how to contact publishers. I don’t care which publisher I work for, I would not mind starting to work for a relitively unknown book, just to get my feet wet. Thanks for the input!

How much does comic book authors get paid? Do they get paid more than any average job or less? Basicly would I be able to buy a house, pay bills and survive off of being a comic artist? Most people say that they don’t get paid much for their work?

I have just finished a 59 page black-and-white comic book and I have the printed pages sitting right next to me. As an up-and-coming comic book author, I would like to know what I should do with my comic. Would I be better off going to a print store and make Xeroxed copies to sell to people or submit some of those copies to small publishing companies?
