What are some good books (or websites) to learn how to anime?

look up mrartistman among others. its a site devoted to artists, a talent community where everyone helps each other out. just post your question on the forums and you will get assistance right away. i did. i’m in a band and they helped me with my vocals, no questions asked.
if u have a local library thats a great place to start they have alomst any level of how to draw books on almost any subject…u could try goin to a google or yahoo search and put in how to draw anime for a beginner it might help!!
If your a near absolute beginner in all art forms, don’t start with anime. Before you draw anime, you need to know the rules of realistic human anatomy. A good site for this is posemaniacs.
Once you have a grasp on human anatomy, you can begin to break the rules to fit the exaggerated proportions that anime characters have.

These is an easy to follow tutorial that teaches you from Anatomy like drawing eyes, head, nose, ears, everything
It also gives you easy tutorials on Gears [ cloth, shoes, accessories]
